As a Therapist Coach and Personal Consultant, I see life as a rich tapestry of stories, experiences and turning points that shape who we become. I believe each person holds the capacity within themselves to move towards a fulfilling and meaningful life. My philosophy is grounded in the understanding that mental and emotional wellbeing are central to overall health, and that therapy and coaching can be powerful spaces for restoring balance and clarity. At the same time, I hold firmly that no two people are the same. There is no single formula that fits everyone.
It is sometimes assumed that counsellors, psychotherapists and coaches are experts in life or in the self. I do not see it that way. I do not place myself above those I work with. Rather, I view you as the expert in your own life and inner world. We meet as equals, two human beings navigating life in our own ways.
I often describe our work together as exploration. You hold the compass, bringing your lived experience, insight and direction. I hold the map, offering perspective, structure and guidance. Together, we collaborate, reflect and make sense of what unfolds.
I am fully insured, hold an enhanced DBS check, and am a registered member of both the BACP counselling and coaching divisions. I hold an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Coaching.
Like everyone, I have faced my own challenges. Life has brought both highs and lows. I live with dyslexia, and you may notice the occasional spelling error on my website. I see this not as a flaw, but as part of being human. Over time, I have learned to measure myself by my own standards and to embrace my uniqueness rather than strive for perfection.
"When one meets another as Thou, the uniqueness and separateness of the other is acknowledged without obscuring the relatedness or common humanness that is shared"
Martin Buber
“The good life is a process, not a state of being"
Carl Rogers
I lead and participate within research to enhance our specialism and the wider field of Counselling, Psychotherapy and Coaching. Seeking to develop insights for effective approaches, develop new understandings and finding ways for ensuring ethical, safe and secure therapeutic relationship.
Substance Misuse - Drugs, Alcohol, Gambling, Social Media & Porn
I have hands on experience within substance misuse services, including working with CGL Bromley, where I supported recovery teams, medical staff and rehabilitation services. My role involved providing counselling and coaching around recovery and relapse prevention, helping clients develop greater self understanding and build healthier, more sustainable coping strategies.
Alongside my background in the tech industry, I am also aware of the impact of social media and digital culture, and how easily it can leave people feeling overwhelmed or disconnected.
I recognise that shame and guilt often sit alongside patterns of misuse. Rather than defining people by traditional labels linked to substances, alcohol, gambling or social media, I tend to understand these behaviours as coping strategies. What once served a purpose may now create difficulty. I approach this work without judgement, seeing these struggles as part of the human experience
Leadership Coaching
I bring over ten years of leadership coaching experience, developed through managing and mentoring leaders within the fast paced world of software engineering. In my role as a Software Quality Assurance Manager, I led the department, shaped technical strategy, and implemented CI and CD automation tools to support effective and streamlined delivery.
A central focus of my work was building a transformational culture by developing grounded, capable leaders who could confidently support their teams and contribute to wider business success. I coached individuals at every stage of leadership, from those stepping into their
first role to experienced professionals seeking to deepen their impact.
Alongside this, I designed job architectures, career development pathways and coaching frameworks to support progression and clarity. These tools were adopted across the organisation as part of broader strategic development initiatives.
